VB-1, 150/300# CF8M V-Port Control Valve with V70 Actuator
Model VB Series, V-Port Segment Ball Control Valves
The Valution VB Series is a V-port segment ball control valve engineered for precise flow control. The ball and seat are designed with a 'V'-shaped opening, which regulates flow in response to the rotational movement of the valve stem, delivering highly accurate modulation across the control range.
Featuring a concentric ball trim structure with a streamlined internal flow path, the VB Series performs exceptionally well in both clean fluid applications and challenging services involving corrosive or slurry media.
By design, the V-type ball delivers a standard equal percentage (EQ-%) flow characteristic, with optional support for linear characteristics when used with an appropriate positioner.
Seat tightness options include both metal and soft seats, with conformance to ANSI/FCI 70-2 leakage classes IV, V, and VI, depending on application requirements.
The straight-body design ensures low flow resistance and provides ample clearance around the trim, enhancing performance, maintenance access, and durability.
The VB Series supports a variety of actuator types, including: Spring-diaphragm actuators, Pneumatic cylinders, Electric motor actuators.
It is optimized for modulating control applications and is fully compatible with: Conventional E/P positioners, Smart positioners, HART communication protocols.
