TA-3&4, 900# CF8M Heavy Duty, Jacketed Angle Valve with V30 Actuator
Model TA Series, Tank-Mounted Angle Control Valves
The Valution TA Series is a tank-mounted control valve engineered with an angled body design - available in 45° (135°), 60° (120°), and 90° configurations - for installation on the bottom or side(left/right) of tanks or vessels.
The TA Series includes several sub-models, categorized by seat and plug design:
- TA-1 : Ram Seal Type designed for long-stroke, on-off applications.
- TA-2 : Tank Bottom Flush Type optimized for low-pressure systems.
- TA-3 : Tank Angle Heavy-Duty Type built for high-pressure applications, offering robust durability.
- TA-4 : Jacketed Angle Control Type designed for processes requiring heating or insulation via a jacketed body.
Given that tank and vessel media often involve aggressive chemical fluids such as PTA (Purified Terephthalic Acid), the valve body and internal trim components are manufactured from high corrosion-resistant materials, including:
CF8M/316L, CF3M/316L, and Titanium/Titanium.
Trim characteristics are customizable based on process requirements, with available flow characteristics including:
Quick Open, Linear, Equal Percentage (EQ-%), Modified Percentage depending on the desired seat tightness, both metal and soft seat designs are available, compliant with ANSI/FCI 70-2 leakage classes IV, V, and VI.
The angled body structure ensures low flow resistance and provides ample space around the trim, improving maintainability and performance in demanding environments.
The TA Series supports a wide range of actuator options, including: Spring-diaphragm actuators, Pneumatic cylinders, Electric motors.
Control options include both on-off (SOV & limit switches) and modulating control, compatible with: Traditional E/P positioners, Smart positioners, HART communication protocols
