Triple Offset Butterfly Control Valve
Valution Model TV Series is a triple offset(eccentric), high-performance butterfly control valve. In other words, 1st offset : The center of the valve stem and the position of the valve seat 2nd offset : The center of the valve stem and the center of the valve body 3rd offset : The slope angle of the valve disc and the center of the valve body Therefore, when the valve is rotated, the disc surface and the seat surface rotate non-contact, allowing precision control even in fine signal changes.
The triple offset butterfly trim structure is a control valve that has a simple internal flow path, so it can have a good effect not only on clean fluid conditions but also on highly corrosive slurry services. Compared to concentric or double offset butterfly valves, the operating torque is small enough to be suitable for modulating control, especially at low temperatures below -10°C or at high temperatures above 300°C to maintain reliability by solving the operational problems with disc, seat shrinkage and thermal expansion. Depending on the characteristics of the triple offset butterfly, the flow characteristics are basically the standard for the near quick open linear characteristics, and support of EQ-% by positioner is possible.
According to the required seat tightness, it is also possible to apply metal or soft seat and to support the fulfillment of the leakage class VI, V, and VI.The body has a straight shape, low fluid resistance and enough space around the trim. This model can routinely apply rack &pinion cylinders, scotch yoke cylinders and electric motorized actuators. It mainly performs modulating functions with traditional E/P, smart and HART positioners.
