Eccentric Butterfly Control Valve

Valution model DV Series is a high performance type butterly control valve, which allows precision control even in fine signal fluctuations, since the center of body/seat and the center of the valve plug/stem are double eccentric and the surface of the valve is non-contacted when the valve is rotated.
It is a control valve that has simple internal flow paths in an eccentric butterfly trim structure, so it can have good effects not only in clean fluid conditions but also in highly corrosive slurry services.

Compared to the concentric butterfly valve, the operating torque is small enough to be suitable for modulating control, but there is a greater probability of malfunctioning due to disc, seat shrinkage at low temperatures below -10°C and thermal expansion at temperatures above 300°C.

Depending on the characteristics of the eccentric butterfly, the flow characteristics are basically the standard for the near-quick open Linear characteristics, and support of EQ-% by positioner is possible.
According to the required seat tightness, it is also possible to apply metal or soft seat and to support the fulfillment of the leakage class VI, V, and VI.
The body has a straight shape structure, which has low fluid resistance and enough space around the trim.
This model can routinely apply rack &pinion cylinders, scotch yoke cylinders and electric motorized actuators.
It mainly performs modulating functions with traditional E/P, smart and HART positioners.
