The Valution EB Series is an eccentric segment ball control valve designed for precise modulating control, even in response to fine signal variations. This performance is enabled by the non-contact rotation between the ball and seat surfaces, achieved through an eccentric alignment of the body center, seat, and valve plug/stem center.
The Eccentric Ball trim structure features a streamlined internal flow path, making the EB Series highly effective not only in clean fluid applications, but also in highly corrosive and slurry services, where durability and flow integrity are critical.
Thanks to the unique characteristics of the eccentric segment ball, the valve provides a Modified Linear flow characteristic by default, with the option to support Equal Percentage (EQ-%) characteristics when used in conjunction with a compatible positioner.
To meet varying sealing requirements, the EB Series is available with either metal or soft seats, conforming to ANSI/FCI 70-2 leakage classes IV, V, or VI depending on application needs.
The valve body is designed with a straight-through flow path, offering low flow resistance and ample clearance around the trim for ease of maintenance and consistent performance.
Compatible actuator options include: Spring-diaphragm actuators, Pneumatic cylinders, Electric motor actuators.
The EB Series is optimized for modulating control applications and supports integration with:
Traditional E/P positioners, Smart positioners, HART communication protocols.
