GL6 Model, Lined Globe Control Valve
Valution's GL6 series lining valves are engineered to deliver reliable performance and long service life, even in highly corrosive and toxic environments. These valves are suitable for a wide range of industries and are ideal for both high-purity process applications and demanding chemical services. The lining materials are chemically inert to a broad spectrum of aggressive substances—including strong acids, alkalis, solvents, refrigerants, and other media typically incompatible with traditional materials such as carbon steel or stainless steel.
Available lining materials include:
- ETFE (Ethylene-Tetrafluoroethylene)
- PFA (Perfluoroalkoxy Alkane)
- PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene)
- FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene)
Lined valves provide superior sealing capabilities and structural strength for use in industrial, chemical, and food processing environments. Designed to withstand harsh operating conditions, the internal lining protects the valve from corrosion and mechanical degradation caused by aggressive media. Options also include EPDM and NBR for added versatility.
This model supports a range of actuator types, including spring diaphragm, pneumatic cylinder, and electric motor actuators.
It is primarily used for modulating control applications and is fully compatible with conventional E/P positioners, as well as smart and HART-compatible positioners.
